A little about Fascia:
Fascia is fibro-elastic tissue that is widely distributed throughout the body. It is the tissue that envelopes the body beneath the skin surrounding the muscles, organs, nerves, blood vessels and lymphatics.
Comprised of irregular, interwoven (web like) collagenous fiber bundles of varying density. Fascia is comprised of: collagen, elastic fibers and ground substance.
