A little about Fascia:  

Fascia is fibro-elastic tissue that is widely distributed throughout the body.  It is the tissue that envelopes the body beneath the skin surrounding the muscles, organs, nerves, blood vessels and lymphatics.

Comprised of irregular, interwoven (web like) collagenous fiber bundles of varying density.  Fascia is comprised of: collagen, elastic fibers and ground substance.

Guy VOYER says: “Fascia is the skin of the structure that gives it shape and structural integrity.  Fascia is the link…it is the link between all the structures of the body, making the body a global structure.”
